Healthy origins.

Comrad was established over three decades ago in Christchurch. We’ve spent over 35 years building Comrad to what it is today, a fast growing company known throughout Australia and New Zealand for next-generation information technology.

We have always set out to think and do things differently. We identified a real need to enhance both the patient and healthcare practitioner experience through better workflows. We pride ourselves on our ability to rise above some of the barriers to technology innovation and adoption.

Mark Sabotti
Chief Executive Officer

Mark has several decades experience in Healthcare including in IT, Professional Services and Health Software. Mark was the Managing Partner of a Healthcare Consulting Practice, was Regional General Manager of Australia’s largest Health Software business and has worked in a number of geographies including the USA, Switzerland and throughout Asia Pacific where he has worked for organisations including BT, IBM, CSC and Telstra Health.

Mark has a successful track record in putting clients at the forefront of everything he does and brings with him a passion for Business Development and Product Management.

Vicky Ratsavong
Chief Financial Officer

Vicky has more than 17 years of professional experience in Commercial Management and Financial Accounting for global companies including Robert Bosch Australia, Siemens Ltd and Draeger Australia. Vicky uses her commercial acumen to support management with planning & execution of strategies, decision making and process optimisation. She holds a Bachelor in Business (Accounting) and accredited as Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).

Greg Smith
Chief Technology Officer

Greg joined Comrad as CTO in June 2012 and brings more than 20 years of IT experience including leadership and solution architecture on complex technology projects. Greg’s prior roles include delivery of consulting and domain specialist knowledge in workflow, business process management and enterprise content management solutions. Greg has a Bachelor of Commerce and Management from Lincoln University in New Zealand.

Phil is the Chief Operating Officer at Comrad. Phil has over 10 years of experience with Comrad and over 18 years’ experience in the IT Industry. As COO, Phil combines his expertise in applications, support, product development, operations, infrastructure, systems management, and service delivery with strong customer focus.

 

 

Hayley Wright
Chief People Officer

Hayley has held a number of senior Human Resources roles across technology, government and professional services. Hayley is particularly passionate about culture, engagement, and bringing innovative ideas to life that enhance the employee experience. Since joining in May 2021 Hayley has been working with our staff to make Comrad an even better place to work and to harness the passion and experience we have for enhancing the way our customers provide care.

Hayley holds a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning from the University of Canterbury.

Stuart Sharpe
Stuart Sharpe
Product & Marketing Manager

Stuart joined Comrad in 2013 as Solutions Consultant and has since been promoted to ANZ Product and Marketing Manager. With 25 years of experience in radiology and IT, he has a passion for building and developing software solutions that improve practice workflows and patient experiences. Working with the software and development teams, Stuart is responsible for bringing customer needs to the business and scoping requirements for future software features.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Diagnostic Imaging & Medical Radiation Technology).

John Livingston
Chairman of the Board

John was previously one of the founding partners of Lake Imaging, and later became CEO and Managing Director of Integral Diagnostics Ltd. John has a special interest in radiology efficiency and the enhancement of Radiological experiences. John joined the Comrad Board in 2017.

John is currently the Chairman of the Board at Comrad Medical Systems, Board member of 4Dx, member of The Australian Institute of Radiography and a graduate member of the AICD.

Catherine Savage

Non-Executive Director

Catherine Savage is a highly regarded professional with an extensive career in the New Zealand fund management and private equity for over 20 years. Catherine is currently the Managing Director of the Savage Group. Previously she was Managing Director of AMP NZ Capital Investors.

Catherine is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, and INFINZ. Catherine has a BCA from Victoria University, New Zealand.

Mark Bowman
Non-Executive Director

Mark served as the Comrad Chairman from 2005 to April 2019. During this time Comrad has significantly increased its Australian market share, has seen a material shareholder change, and has reshaped the business for sustainable growth.

Mark has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Canterbury and is a Chartered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Mark Dossor
Non-Executive Director

Mark is CEO of Rangatira Investments. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of NZ Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC). At ACC Mark had responsibility for leading ACC’s finance function, procurement, property and investment management. Mark joined the Comrad Board in 2008.

Mark has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University of Wellington, and he is a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Directors.
